Many of you read my Language of Glory post, where I shared a surprise God had in store for me the night He moved heavily in my life. But before I gained the honor of an activated prayer language (tongues) and the double blessing of standing as a conduit for L’s vision/injured eyes healing, He first took care of His Julie by healing me physically.
Yes! He did! And I want to thank you for YOUR part! I know many of you have prayed for me—I feel humbled and beholden.

The more obvious it became that He was calling me into this prayer ministry and planned on multiplying the book writing and speaking, I grew concerned. As many of you know, I’ve struggled with my physical ailments (including EDS, extreme allergies that sent me to Heaven, and a back injury from a car accident 25 years ago), and I saw the stamina and physical ability all this ministry would need.
I didn’t have it! Months ago, I even considered filing for disability and was encouraged by others not to wait, because everything (especially the EDS) would grow worse as I aged.
But I held off, not quite feeling God’s go-ahead, as we struggled to make ends meet without my day job salary.
In the meantime, I continued to pray that He might see fit to heal me someday, and many others in my life kept praying too (thank you!). I can’t tell you how often even my own parents answered my “please pray I can walk on the beach some today” with, “we’re just going to keep praying for complete healing.” SO grateful.
I sought out a few people who God had used for healing in other people’s lives, and three of them kindly prayed with me. My friend Robyn and I also visited a healing room at a local church. An online mentor’s prayers took the back pain away for about a week, and I was thrilled, but kept seeking. There were no results from the rest, and that is nothing about them—God alone chooses to heal, and there was something He wanted me to take care of first.
Once that was taken care of, He not only healed me but also took me back to Heaven to provide more material for the Heaven book. Wow. (No flatlining this time, however, as far as I know!)
As promised, here is the post for my paid subscribers, as I commit to providing them with more. You should be able to use your freebie paid post credit for it if you haven’t already done so. And as always, if you would like a paid subscription and cannot afford one, please let me know. I keep a few people in the wings who are interested in providing that for you.
