One of us grew up steeped in Pentecostal culture—speaking in tongues early, surrounded by the gifts, but only truly grasping the depth of it all as an adult. The other grew up conservative, had an unexpected visit to Heaven, received tongues just recently, and still wouldn’t call herself Pentecostal ‘per se’.
