Jan, so very kind of you. I appreciate that and also hearing from you. Well done on your podcast with Tom and Peggy. I knew most of their story since they've been in my life for a very long time but I heard some new tidbits as well. Thanks for following the mission our Lord has given you! All, Jan's podcast is called "Just Talkin' About Jesus".

So many examples from the Bible that we’re living in today and many people don’t even realize it! Jesus is still more alive today and still healing people although people say “ it’s so long ago” NO! He’s still here with us if you believe! Very inspiring!

Julie, this is a wonderful article I enjoyed. There is always more to be gleaned from God's Word. When you wrote of the risen Chrst, I was reminded of the dream God gave me after my Mom died. I never really got to say good bye or see you later to my mom. I was not able to go to her funeral either due to my life circumstances in my first marriage. The dream was beautiful and vivid. I still can see the images in my mind. My mom came to see me. She was so beautiful! I remember her saying that she couldn't stay long. I believe I saw and spoke to my Mom in a vision or dream. It was peaceful. I saw her in complete healing. (She died from cancer.) She glowed! I imagine this was from her being in God's presence. God gave me a precious gift to be able to go on and to have hope in Christ to see my mom again one day with Jesus. I had a different experience when my son died 2 years later, but an even more precious gift from God on my darkest day.

Julie, thank you so much for sharing your gift.

Beth, that is so wonderful that He gave you those experiences. I’m so grateful. He is faithful. How wonderful to know that they are safe in His care and you will see them again! Part of your welcoming committee for sure. Glad you enjoyed the post. I appreciate you reading and commenting.

Masterfully written, and rightly praising the only One worthy of praise. Thank you.

And your discussion about Mary Magdalene might have triggered some words pouring forth from me in the near future regarding egalitarianism vs. complementarianism. I don't know. We'll see.

Thank you again, Julie.
