I have toyed with the idea that the jobs in heaven have to do with the spiritual warfare here on Earth. It is also part of the rewards/crowns. Our Earthly test prepares us for which jobs we get there. The talents parable. It gives me great comfort. They don't feel our pain by helping us, but it's all cosmic spiritual warfare somehow.

Interesting indeed. Yes, our gifts and talents here will be extended and used well in Heaven. I know that the minions try to prevent us from using them, but I never thought of that correlation of attempting to stop our heavenly jobs too. Quite the thought. I appreciate you sharing!

It seems like God gives some a glimpse of heaven to help us understand what is happening on the “flip side.” I think that’s pretty cool.

I appreciate that you documented your post well with scripture.

I often stop and ponder ‘on earth as it is in heaven.’

He teaches us to partner with heaven in prayer, to bring heaven’s decrees to earth, so it makes perfect sense to me that those in heaven are at least aware, to a certain degree, of what is happening down here, specifically because they rejoice in the victories.

I love the fact that you discuss these things.

Just pulling from my own questions. LOL. And kind of unfortunately, I'm never afraid to discuss just about anything. Thank you for your thoughts, Sally. It does make a lot of sense when you think about it. I appreciate you!

I love how you ponder these things! I'm guessing this topic has festered in many of our minds. One day we'll know for sure. Arguments can be made for both viewpoints, as you've shown.

Thank you for spiritual meals to chew on!

Thought provoking and well written, not sure why people would unsubscribe.

The first part, on the separation or connections between Heaven and Earth is something I’ve often pondered, especially as my parents have passed.

While I have no specific insight, I do know that we will each know that answer definitively, in the time of our Lord’s determination.
